CCI Social Night

CCI had her very first company year end dinner in the form of the first Social Night held on 16 December 2006 at the Mind Cafe. Carolyn was on site to give her account of the event.

I know this entry is here a little too late, but still it's one of the most unforgettable nights Cheers Connect International Pte Ltd has hosted. (*ahem) I meant, I hosted. Just joking! But hey, it's true. I was the emcee of that night, and boy as the emcee, we definitely see things differently. Of course, without CCI, there wouldn't be a Social Night. Without the people at the backstage, (Angie, Evelyn, the core team) surely CCI would never have had a Social Night.

The night was amusing, entertaining and what in laymens term, fun. 16th December 2006.

We hosted our first Social Night at Minds Cafe, with our very own Cheerios and guests arriving at 630pm-730pm. The ladies wore make up, and don on pretty little skirts. Men were in suits and shirt and tie. I must admit, I could not even recognize half of them that turned up in extravagant colours. Surely this fanciful night of seeing everybody doll up is definitely much better than seeing them in their yellow and black polo tee with 3/4 pants.

It all started with a recollection of the past few CFAs we've been through. It was very much just CFA 1 - 9 in our powerpoint slides. And not forgetting, the TFC (Topography Facilitators Course) and all the Cheerios Sentosa events we've had.

All of which played games through the night, and we had little kinky presents for the good-hearted people who won our games. We had our lucky draw and we saw our facilitators partake in games like "So you think you can dance" with their partners.

I must say, we must have brought the house down at Minds Cafe with our cosy little fun, and our 5 Macho Man that stood out from the rest.

You don't really see us facilitators act like that, all the time, do you?

So again, like Avanna, I thank all the people who were involved directly and indirectly. The people who turned up, the people from the backstage (core team for making this happen), the people who rocked the place, the people from CFA 1 - 9 who turned up, the people who participated in the games Junting and I organized, and last but not least, Minds Cafe.

We had good food and good company. What else could we ask for? I could only ask for one more thing, that we rock another place like we would this time around, in year 2007 where we have our very own Second Social Night!
